We know letting go of household items can bring up a lot of practical questions. This page is here to give you clear, straightforward answers about how Encore works - from scheduling a pickup, to what items we accept, to what happens if something doesn’t sell. You’ll also find details on donations, our upcoming resale payouts, and the policies we follow to keep things simple, secure, and sustainable.

  • Encore Haus is Denver’s concierge resale & donation service. We make it simple to rehome quality household items by handling pickup, resale listings, and responsible donations.

  • We help people during life transitions - moving, downsizing, estate clear-outs, or simply decluttering - who want an easy, sustainable solution.

GENERAL

  • Use our Donation Pickup form to choose a date and time that works best for you.

  • We recommend scheduling at least one week ahead. Same-week availability may be limited.

  • Contact us at (720) 821 - 7725 or via our Contact Us page. We’ll do our best to accommodate changes with at least 24 hours’ notice.

PICKUPS & SCHEDULING

  • For our pilot (Fall 2025) we accept:

    • Clothing & Accessories

    • Kitchenware & Cookware

    • Small decor & home goods

    • Books & Media

  • We currently do not accept:

    • Large furniture

    • Major appliances

    • Hazardous, broken, or recalled items

  • Yes. Beginning January 2026, our full resale service will include additional household categories

ITEMS ACCEPTED

  • Yes. When eligible items are resold, clients will receive a payout.

  • Encore Haus will share payout details, including percentages and methods, at the time of launch.

    Payments will be processed electronically.

  • Items that don’t sell within the listing window are donated directly to our nonprofit partners.

RESALE & PAYOUTS

  • Items are delivered to trusted Denver nonprofits and community shops. Our Partners page will list collaborations as they are finalized.

  • Donations directed to registered nonprofits may be tax-deductible. Encore Haus provides documentation of items transferred, and our nonprofit partners can provide tax receipts upon request.

POLICIES & SECURITY

  • Yes. Encore Haus carries insurance coverage for our operations, and all staff are background-checked and arrive with photo ID

  • No. Our team handles packing and loading for you.

  • Encore Haus never sells personal data. Pickup details and client information are only used to provide service. See our Privacy Policy for details.
