From Trustsell Co to Encore Haus

Encore Haus began as Trustsell Co, a name that reflected our goal to make resale trustworthy and easy. As our mission grew, we realized it was about more than helping people sell things - it was about supporting them through big life moments.

We evolved into a service that’s about second chances - for both the items we rehome and the people navigating change.

Here’s how we help:

  • Evaluate items for resale value and manage the entire process start-to-finish

  • Coordinate donation pickups for those who don’t have access so items find a meaningful second home

  • Keep usable goods out of landfills while reducing stress for our clients.

Where We Are Now

We’re still in our pre-launch phase, building slowly, thoughtfully, and with the people we hope to serve.

Right now, we’re:

  • Testing service flows and refining the resale and donation process

  • Listening closely to feedback from real people in transition

  • Gathering stories, tips, and inspiration to share here on the blog

  • Documenting the good, the challenging, and everything in between.

Why This Matters

Every year, millions of usable household items are sent to landfills - not because they’re broken, but because people don’t know the easiest way to pass them along. Encore Haus exists to change that.

By giving items a second life we:

  • Reduce waste and protect resources

  • Support local charities and resale businesses

  • Make life transitions less overwhelming

FAQ: Encore Haus in a Nutshell

Q: What is a “recommerce concierge service”?

A: It’s our way of saying we handle the hard parts of resale and donation for you. From sorting to pricing to finding the right buyer or donation partner - we make sure your household items get a second life without adding work to your plate.

Q: How is Encore Haus different from a junk hauler or resale app?

A: Junk haulers focus on quick removal and resale apps leave all the listing and shipping to you, the user. We’re the in-between - we keep usable items out of landfills, find them new homes, and take care of all the steps in between.

Q: When will Encore Haus launch?

A: We’re aiming to begin offering services in early 2026, starting with clothing, kitchen goods, and small home decor pickups in the Denver metro area. We are still working on the operational infrastructure so that when we launch, there are as few kinks as possible. Join our pilot program waitlist to be the first to know when booking opens.

Q: What kind of items do you take?

A: We focus on clothing, kitchen goods, and small home decor in good condition - things that can be resold or donated right away. If you’re not sure, just ask!

Q: Do you sell my items or donate them?

A: Both! We evaluate each item to see where it will do the most good - sometimes it means resale, sometimes donation, and sometimes a mix of both.

Q: Do you only work in Denver?

A; Right now our focus is on serving the Denver metro area so we can partner closely with local charities, shops, and buyers. We do hope to expand to more communities should the pilot program and launch be successful.
